NFL suspends Seahawks' Locklear for one game

P-I REPORTER
KIRKLAND -- Seahawks tackle Sean Locklear was suspended for one game today for violating the NFL personal conduct policy.
The suspension stems from a domestic violence charge for assaulting his girlfriend in January. Locklear reached an agreement with prosecutors in July to serve two years of community service.
Because of the suspension, Locklear will not play in Sunday's game against the Chiefs in Kansas City. He cannot rejoin the team until Monday.
With Locklear out, Tom Ashworth will start at right tackle. It will be his first start for the Seahawks, who signed the former starter for the New England Patriots in the offseason.
