Words of Inspiration! Again, from the mouth of Ricky Davis as the Blazers venture into Minnesota to meet the Timberwolves. Again, tonight!
an excerpt from - Mike Tokito of the Oregonian:
"Ten days ago, Minnesota guard Ricky Davis, when he was near the Blazers' bench, called the home team a "pack of roaches." The words fired up the Blazers. Asked about it when the Timberwolves were in Sacramento last week, Davis didn't back off, telling reporters, "They're in our division. They're not going to win the division, put it that way. We just have to make sure next time, when we get up 15, we bury them."
Davis then almost added more fuel to the fire. He started to say that when the Blazers played in Minnesota he might "bring my Raid." But he stopped, saying, "No, no."
