Whoa, who is that leaning against the wall at Ram Park... over there, by the soda machine? That, thats uh, nah, cant be... it's Denzel Washington!!!
Washington was in town yesterday to get a look at his son, the rookie running back J.D. Washington who is on the Rams' practice squad. J.D. said he knew his dad was dropping in for a visit but "...was kind of surprised ...I didn't think he was going to be here for practice." When asked as he was leaving the field Denzel just offered that "I'm just here for my son," smiling.
Coach Scott Linehan was impressed "he's here to see his son, just like any other father would be," Linehan then added, "Hopefully, he's a good luck charm for us."
The Rams, who have lost their last two games, meet the Kansas City Chiefs at noon Sunday at the Edward Jones Dome. ESPN Sportswriter Ron, "Jaws" Jaworski is the only staff writer picking the Chiefs to upset the Rams on Sunday afternoon... The latest line is the Rams are 2.5 point favorites, with the over/under point total 48.
I agree with you Jaws, we'll score at least 25
