Don't choke on the bone Jason!

How about those Chiefs! Oh Man. They may have made THE move of the season! Carl Peterson, the clubs oft maligned general manager, announces in this mornings press conference the introduction of our latest aquisition. Perenial all-pro- Ty Law has moved to Kansas City!
Herm Edwards the new head coach was more than likely the pivotal player in the signing of this latest sweet prize. Herm coached Ty Law last year when both were with the Jets. It was his influence that helped Kansas City stay hungry for this deal. It was also his influence that made this deal sealed.
Willie Roaf et al may just get their shot at football in February! Speculation is that Law, will be the missing piece. Law, a now 32yr old warrior got a five year deal worth over 30 million dollars. Hey! It may be a steal! If he can corral even close to last years league leading ten interceptions this year, the investment will pay off immediately. It has been whispered however by the ownership, that if he only averages 5-7 per, over six years, the club will marvel in its' success.
Well Jason Whitlock the ESPN comentator and local Kansas City Star contributor has been after this organization- it seems with every breath, in half his articles to make this deal done for over a year. He has offered diparaging remarks, awful remarks publicly, since last fall and training camp. He wrote a 6 month tirade after about the Chiefs, the general manager. He blasted the direction this club has gone since NOT signing Law last year. I can only imagine today, he's sitting in front of a massive pile of ribs today. Good eating Jason!
