"Its Okay I Think, I Can Say it Now, I Always Wanted to be Here

Ty Law held his first press conference this morning. He spoke of how he had been in contact with Herman Edwards, his former coach in New York, early on, since Edwards got his position with Kansas Citys' Chiefs. It came out today that Edwards told him to be patient, he urged Law to take care of himself, Edwards confidently assured him that he would do everything he could to be sure that the Chiefs signed him.
Today it was summed it up in a phrase "It all worked out". "It is good for us and it will be good for them". Discussing the negotiations between the two sides. "It took a while until both sides came up with a mumber that felt comfortable". Edwards added "Law will go to the Hall of Fame." He reminded all that last year Law did not report to the Jets in playing shape. It was said Law was only able to practice one, maybe two, days a week due to his ankle and its' slow recovery. Law apparently spent alot of time though in the film room.
Edwards continued, that he was rehabing carefully. He went on saying that Law could always be counted on, "He came in on Sunday ready to play", "He still got a league leading ten interceptions." He evaluated the corner, that his "techique and his footwork were flawless"- making up for any lack of speed, "because of his experience".
Ty Law is healthy today. Ty Law will report to camp at his ideal playing weight. Law maintains today he is now 110% healthy, both physically in his ankle, and mentally. Edwards took time to reassure the media that Law will come into the locker room quietly, not to get attention and not to disupt the team. Law will cooperate and answer questions but that he is not a vocal leader. The veteran corner said he wants his work to be his legacy.
Things are definitely looking up for the chiefs "cover two defense".
