This Years Trailblazers are Rehab'd for Success, YeHaw!

Man, those Portland Trailblazers really do look like a whole new team. not just physically but with a new mentality. Mike Barretts report at http://fans.blazers.com/blogs/mike_barrett/ is the result of following two of last years injured blazers through the rehab process. His enlightening report details their work ethic, as well as the workouts of NBA all star Zach Randolph and Jarrett Jack. This work ethic thing is a concept that the last years team struggled with. Along with all those losses came the dwindling minutes for the roster of players. The "Sarge", Coach Nate McMillan, was always well known for his own work ethic during his playing career and has required it from every team he has coached. So alas, eventually late in the year, more than a couple "allstars in their own eyes" became disgruntled and were openly complacent during practice sessions and at times even in games, when called from "the bench". It was an unhappy locker room and unsightly team at times.
This years draft, with accompanying personnel moves and aquisitions have brought a new sunrise to the Northwest. Zbo {as seen in photos from the above link) has reported for rehab, as thin as he has ever been while LaMarcus Aldridge, the rookie out of Texas has been seen as needing to bulk up his 6'11 frame to compete in the NBA. Maybe Zbo the teams power forward would consider a role as the SF and offer a larger "LA" the opportunity to take over at power forward. Resulting rebounds would present "large problems", and possibly often, crush potential opponents. In any event both will benefit from the University of Washington All American Brandon Roy distributing the ball to all! Good luck from your biggest fan in Kansas City boys. Bring back the glory to the Red and Black!
