Early line Wednesday: Denver by 10.5

Vegas doesnt have much faith in the new and improved Chiefs Defense against the Jake Plummer led/leaderless Offense.
Boy, you had to be impressed with Coach Herm Edwards press conference yesterday. He spanked "loudly" all the doubters and the naysayers didnt he? I think he made some excellent points. He did run a wide open game plan, from the start of the game. It was the turnovers that made the wide open offense ineffective. When you have to try to turn on the tap THAT many times the hadle is bound to come off. The misdirections are trashed, they are no longer effective. They are longer 'bought' by any defense that knows just how long the field is. As long as they remember how many points you need to win- its a LONG, Long, long, game!

It just makes it all way TOO predictable, way TOO fun.

Notice how the sacks mostly happened (how many were there again, I lost count!) after they realized they could play so many 'games' on defense, confuse your frustrated line and start headgaming the quarterback!

I guess a 10.5 pointspread is reasonable.

No if the Chiefs "D" can get as annoyed as their coach on Sunday, things may be different. Bring on Cutler!
