I told you they would remember us!

This Sunday is the day and the opponent Carson Palmer focused throughout rehab. September. 10th @ Kansas City.

A sign that Palmer he is one of the NFLs best- is that everyone, even his counterpart, the guys from the other side of the field are is his corner.

One is Trent Green, he has reached out several times to Palmer since the injury, though he didnt even know him. Green had went through ACL surgery himself nine years ago. Green made his first call to him shortly after the Palmer surgery but the two didnt meet up until a golf tournament in July.

Green told him that he was happy for him they talked about the mental part of healing. About being back in the pocket, having guys blitzing in at your feet and guys falling into you. Trent now sees that Palmer is doing a great job with it, he watched the Green Bay game. The young quarterback only took 43 snaps in his two preseason games, but earned a 140.2 passer rating.

Even Chiefs coach Herm Edwards gives him kudos. "I'm happy for him. I'm a former player and you always want good players when they're injured to get through it and be able to play again". Edwards went on. "I just feel like when your star player in this league gets hurt, it hurts you a little bit. It hurts the league and I think he's one of the star quarterbacks in our league and it's good to see him back playing.

Respect is earned.
