San Francisco next up!

Using ESPN NFL statistics:

#21 Frank Gore, 5-9, 215 lbs, is the featured running back for the San Francisco 49ers. Gore is also ranked well, #4 in the NFL rankings for his position. Larry Johnson will make it quite a battle a week from Sunday. Larry is ranked lower at #7. Larry will want to make a statement here. It will be a featured battle.

Gore is 23 yrs old, a 2nd year player out of the Miami of Florida. He has also been quite impressive this year as a receiver out of the backfield. He has made 8 catches for an 11.6 yd average. Larry compares favorably, with 10 catches and 12.1 yds. This is a matchup to target in the game at Arrowhead.

Since he has been made a starter this year, he has been a very productive 49er. Gore has gained 214 yards on 45 attempts for a 4.8 yd average. He is built like a little fireplug. His longest run though was for 32 yds against the Arizona Cardinals defense. You know he will meet a stiffer challenge in Kansas City.

Most of this guys yards come in the first half when he carries for up to 15 times. His stats get very respectable, close to 6yds per rush. He falls off as the game goes on. This will be key with our rush defense loaded for bear early in the game.

The 49ers favor running him up the middle and off tackle to the left. This is where he has made most of his big plays this year, they have also come, after being stopped for little or no gain on first down. It is then he has shown he can break one. On second down and with 8-10yds to go he has achieved 52 yds on 5 carries. In the middle of the field he has alot of carries. That implies ball control. It looks to me like we gotta get to him early, dishearten him.

Make them throw the ball. He has the 11 pass receptions out of the backfield in two games. While productive to the right and left, he has broken one left, for 39 yards. Alright, defensive ends strap up your helmets!
Bell will get a good chance to match that bigtime hit in the backfield last week. !!
HiT iT KEndReLL !!

Kudos to Jared Allen for leading the team in tackles! You will see alot of Frank Gore coming around your way. Jared has compiled 13 tackles from the defensive line, a budding powerhouse line that totals 36, they are getting after it.

It is time to turn this around!
